The Kenosha Velosport Bicycle Racing Team is currently seeking sponsors for the 2012 season of bicycle racing.  We are predominantly a junior development team.  Our coaches teach young boys and girls from the Kenosha area that are interested in bicycle racing and work with them on how to race a bicycle, train for the sport and ultimately be competitive on a national level.  The Kenosha Velosport Team currently has 17 active members, with 10 members ages 10 to 16.  Monetary sponsors are needed primarily for racing expenses, as well as training and travel expenses.

 Kenosha Velosport has been in existence for over 25 years and our coaches have helped to produce over ten National Champions and over 40 State champions from the Kenosha area.  The City of Kenosha has one of only 27 velodromes in the entire country.  Our velodrome, located on Washington Road, gives the children in our community a chance to learn about and compete in bicycle racing.  This is a unique opportunity that we want to continue to foster in our community.

We are asking for your assistance in this endeavor.   With your help we will be able to purchase new racing uniforms (with your company name prominently displayed), bicycles, parts, tools and defer some travel costs to major races and offset entry fees.  Your contribution and support can manifest in a few different ways:

·         Elite Sponsorship – This would include being introduced as (your company name) cycling team from Kenosha, Wisconsin.  A banner with your name and logo would be displayed at every event the team races (coast to coast).  Your logo would be visible on all bicycles and support vehicles.  The new racing jerseys could also be made in your company’s color scheme.  Additionally, your name & logo on both sides of the racer’s shorts at approximately 12” by 5” and any flyers we send out along with Tuesday night programs.  All this would be possible for a $2,500 donation.

·         Major Sponsorship – Your company logo or name displayed in middle of the jersey front and back approximately 10” by 5”.   All references to Kenosha Velosport would include mention of sponsorship by your company name.  All this would be possible for a $1,500 donation.

·         Associate Sponsorship – This would include your name or company logo to appear on our racing jersey in a smaller size of approximately 5” by 5”, on the front and back. This would be possible for a $1,000 donation.

·         Friends of the Team – This sponsorship would be a helpful donation to offset expenses during the year and would be a $500.00 donation.  This includes a 3” by 3” spot on our skinsuit front and back also includes a spot on flyers, banners and other advertising we do throughout the year.

Additionally, Kenosha Velosport sponsors a series of three races each spring and competes during the Tuesday night racing series at the Velodrome each summer.  We would develop a flag, banner and/or tent to showcase our sponsors prominently wherever we compete.
